Damn straight! Apparently Fiction Plane's Joe Sumner knows that with a voice as distinct as the one his father gave him he'd need to give credit where credit is due. What better way then keeping it hidden in a code that only true fans will find? Like many children of successful artists it's difficult to do your own thing amid the floating pre-conceived notions. I for one feel like Joe and the boys have done an incredulous job. I have no problem admitting that I'm a Fiction Plane fan. That's why I know that the band name is an anagram for...you guessed it....Infant Police. In my heart of hearts I have a good feeling that Sting approves.
If you've never given the band a listen maybe you should do that hear.

Sting would definitely approve of that boring tripe. I envision a father-son side project where they combine their skills and make music that sounds more irrelevant than anyone could imagine.
ReplyDeleteOh Johnny G...come on now! Relevance is all relative! Culture is King!!
